But I have come come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect - life in its fullness until you overflow
You’ve probably heard people say they follow Jesus, but what exactly does that mean?Believe Jesus is Lord
For us, following Jesus means recognising Him for who He really is. He is The Son of God. He is the Savior of the world. “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9).
The first step to following Jesus is believing that He is who He says He is.Obey His ways
The Bible tells us that following Jesus includes applying his word. Jesus tells us: “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:31-32 NIV).
If you feel disconnected from your creator or you’re not right with God, you can choose to follow Jesus right now by praying a prayer asking Him to be in your life.
“Thank you Jesus,
I believe you are the Son of God, who died for my sins and rose to life.
I’m sorry Lord, forgive me. Come into my heart, transform my ways, help me lead me for the rest of my life.
Right now Jesus, I give my life to you. I declare that you are my Lord and Saviour.
In the name of Jesus. Amen.”

Only Jesus has the power to set us free from guilt and shame. When we surrender and go to Him, our life if made whole. Every time we thank God or show gratitude for who He is, we are worshipping Him.
Jesus’ name is the name above all names and we can call on His name anytime, anywhere. Not only is He our Lord and saviour but a personal friend who knows what we are going through and cares about us. That’s why the Bible also calls Him “Immanuel”, God with us. Prayer is talking to God, and spending time with Him. There’s nothing more powerful than asking for His help.
